This is Mark Shupe on the First Episode of Season 2 of the Moneyball Method Podcast. In keeping with the tradition we started last year, we are posting this year’s first podcast on a very special day — September 2, which in 1946, was the day that Ayn Rand began writing her magnum opus — Atlas Shrugged.
Today I would like to start a new series about the ordinary abundance of our daily lives — the inventions that gird our world and the enormous risks in capital that created them for us, and the time and heavy labour they made free. They have created the most valuable commodity for us — time. We couldn’t live without these effeciencies but they are so normal to us, it is impossible to think of an era when they didn’t exist. Join me as I explore the history of abundance in our modern world!
