This is Mark Shupe on the Seventh Episode of Season 2 of the Moneyball Method Podcast. Today I would like to talk about “LASIK, GLP-1 and Medical Tourism” — specifically the Moneyball Method applied to these fields.
Last week I began with the Moneyball Method’s premise: firstly, earned profit is a virtuous goal, because it combines other virtues like productivity, justice, and honesty. The second premise is Objective Data. The third is to declare independence from common wisdom. Let us now apply these principles to the three fields in modern medicine not forcefully governed by altruistic government goals and see where they lead us.
